Really good tasty food
Everything I remember of cornish childhood cream tea's and despite the amazing density, not at all cloying or sickly. Was the kingpin of our cream tea.
Scones exactly what you dream of and first time for saffron buns, which are gorgeous, a new favourite for me. Arrived obviously just made and we had 2 cream tea's with them. I ordered the saffron bun set because they cleverly suggest they make an alternative cream tea, very tasty.
Sturdy, not wasteful in size, tough enough to take both travelvet and the vagaries of the heatwave. Like how the site sorts out your carton according to the size,shape and weight of your purchases, very clever and easy.
The meat was tasty and succulent and the pasties cooked up beautifully for our lunch on arrival. Very cleverly packed in freezer bag with freezer blanket, they tasted proper cornish with the right proportions of veg. Divine, and very grateful he shared his pasties with me.
Husbands favourite cheese is stilton so delighted that he is wading his way through the Cornish blue with little comment but great enthusiasm. Hoped it would please him and it has.
